Terms of Use

Puzy is a feed of short puzzles. Play it, enjoy it, and please play fair.

These terms are between you and Sailesh Dahal, an individual developer in Nepal ("we"). By using the Puzy app you agree to them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it.

Using Puzy

Play fair

Don't cheat, automate play, or tamper with the app, our server or other players' progress. Don't try to get at puzzles, answers or data you aren't shown, and don't copy our puzzles to use elsewhere. Don't use problem reports to send anything abusive or unlawful.

Your Rating, Streak, Stars and Hints

They're part of the game: they have no money value, can't be sold or transferred, and may change when we fix a puzzle or tune the game.

What you send us

When you report a problem with a puzzle, you let us use what you wrote to fix and improve Puzy. Our Privacy Policy explains what the app sends and why.

Our content

The puzzles, pictures, the app and Puzy the mascot belong to us or to the people who license them to us. Some parts are used under open licences, such as the Fluent Emoji (MIT) and the Caveat font (SIL Open Font License); the app lists them under Menu → About → Notices.

Changes to Puzy

Puzy changes often: new puzzles arrive, old ones retire, and games are added or removed. We may change or stop the app or any part of it, and we'll try to give notice of anything major.

No warranty

We work hard to make every puzzle fair and the app reliable, but Puzy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost progress or data. If we are liable to you for anything else, our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or any rights you have by law that can't be limited, including under the consumer law of the country where you live.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Nepal can hear any dispute about them. If you use Puzy as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we'll update this page and its date. If you keep using Puzy after a change, the new terms apply.
